So many ways to PAX… what to do, what to do? One way to make a decision and stick with it is to get yourself into a console tournament. These tournaments are billed as “bite-sized events” that take at most 4 hours, but usually far less.
Sign-ups are capped at 64 players tops, and signups begin at 10am on the day of each tournament. You’ll can take some practice time at CFP or CCFP if you like, but don’t be late to check in before the tournament starts! Head to the console area in the convention center when you arrive to get in on this action.
- 11:00am-1:00pm – Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 (could be on Switch, Xbox One or PS4)
- 12:00pm-2:00pm – Ultimate Chicken Horse (could be on Switch, Xbox One or PS4)
- 2:00pm-4:00pm – Dragon Ball FighterZ (could be on Switch, Xbox One or PS4)
- 3:00pm-5:00pm – Just Dance 2019 (could be on Switch, Xbox One, PS4, or other platforms)
- 4:00pm-6:00pm – Saturday Mystery Tournament (???this could be anything, not necessarily Nintendo)
- 5:00pm-7:00pm – Super Mash Bros. Melee (Competitive) (GameCube)
- 7:00pm-9:00pm – Super Mario Strikers (GameCube)
- 10:00pm-11:30pm – Super Smash Bros. (Competitive) (N64)
