That’s is a literal quotation from Ubisoft regarding Just Dance 2020 coming to Nintendo’s original Wii console: “Just Dance 202 is coming to the Wii because our audience wants it.”
Who is this audience? Well, social media speculation has come up with a theory that Ubisoft’s supplying of games and consoles to hospitals and rehab centers may be playing a significant role. The company has donated many consoles and Just Dance games over the years, especially to children’s hospitals, where patients use the game to work on their movement, coordination, get exercise, and improve quality of life by having a little fun.
However, Ubisoft also wants people to remember that “a lot of [their] players are children and families who continue to play on Wii.”
So, people are still using and playing games on the Wii, according to Ubisoft. It’ll hit both Switch and Wii this coming November.
