Nintendo of America has taken to Twitter to pepper us with announcements, and among the chatter was one tidbit that’s gotten folks in a frenzy: Luigi’s Mansion 3 will be released on October 31st of this year. Literally just in time for Halloween.
You’ll be able to help Luigi find his friends after they go missing on vacation, battling spooks and ghosts in the Last Resort Hotel as you wait for real-life trick-or-treaters to arrive at your front door.

Why Nintendo didn’t decide to release the game earlier in October is a little perplexing, but at least it’s still coming in 2019 rather than get pushed into next year as many were suspecting. Early reports from this year’s E3 have been very positive, so keep an eye out for more details as they emerge.
