The Cooking Mama series seems ubiquitous with Nintendo platforms, despite being developed by a third party—notably we’ve seen seven games as exclusives with Nintendo in the past, and only the very first game appeared elsewhere (on iOS).
There hasn’t been an official announcement about the latest offering—not yet, anyway—but two different ratings boards (Germany & Australia) have seen a title pop up for Cooking Mama: Cookstar.
The rating in Germany has the Switch listed as the release platform, while the Australia rating says “multi-platform.” But since nothing official has come down the line, we can’t know for sure one way or the other how accurate that will be.
We haven’t seen another Cooking Mama game since Cooking Mama: Sweet Shop in 2017 on the 3DS, so it seems logical we’re due for another round on Nintendo’s latest platform. Stay tuned!
