Next year we’re getting two new Monster Hunter games on the Switch, so it only makes sense that we’d see a new wave of amiibo in conjunction with the releases.
The three amiibo—Palamute, Magnamalo, and Palico—will be sold as GameStop exclusives, or EB Games if you’re in Canada. These will launch alongside Monster Hunter Rise, and will unlock special layered armor sets in-game specific to each monster.
A Collector’s Edition will also be available with the Magnamalo amiibo, as well as a physical copy of the game, a “Kamura Mark” pin badge, a sticker page, and a Deluxe Kit DLC Pack download code.
Monster Hunter Rise will launch March 21st 2021, and Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin is slated for an ambiguous “summer 2021.”
