Whoops! Something unexpected appeared on the Play Nintendo Website today – a new Kirby game!? Folks over on Twitter were talking about it this morning as it seems like Nintendo accidentally made a listing for Kirby Fighters 2, priced at $19.99USD, go live before it was officially announced.
It’s a downloadable title, and clearly a sequel to Kirby Fighters Deluxe for the 3DS, released in 2014.

Here’s the description:
“Choose from a cast of Kirby’s most iconic copy abilities-including the brand-new Wrestler ability-and duke it out to be the last Kirby standing. Familiar friends and foes like Bandana Waddle Dee and King Dedede also make an appearance as playable characters in the Kirby Fighters 2 game, available exclusively for the Nintendo Switch system.”
As of writing this article, the listing appears to have been removed—but we expect to hear official confirmation news from Nintendo very soon.
