Although the fan reaction to Nintendo’s showing at E3 wasn’t the greatest, Nintendo certain has something worth celebrating on its hands today. This week, the company went ahead and tallied its numbers for the sales of Splatoon since its launch at the end of May… and it turns out that the physical and digital sales of this new IP have surpassed the 1 million mark.
That’s a million sales worldwide, with over 476,000 in the Americas.
Talk about a strong showing, and we’re only a month out. Here at Nintendo Fire HQ, all we have to say is… we’ve played it, and we’re not surprised.
