Small news today, but perhaps exciting for fans of the blue hedgehog. Sega has confirmed that 3D Sonic the Hedgehog 2 will arrive on the 3DS this October—October 8th, to be exact.
Sonic 2 is known by fans for being the best game featuring the spin-dashing critter, and it was an incredible commercial success back during the time of its original launch. It was also the first time we met Tails, the little fox sidekick.
M2 has been bringing 3D classics to Nintendo’s handheld consoles for a little while now, so this latest one is sure to keep the ball (hedgehog?) rolling on great gameplay experiences.
