I mean, I’m sure some of you love this idea… the publisher/developer releasing hints in advance of making a real announcement, making fans wait and wait on the edge of their seats, playing Encyclopedia Brown trying to figure out what they’re doing.
Natsume, the publisher of beloved titles such as Gabrielle’s Ghostly Groove and Harvest Moon 3D: The Tale of Two Towns, did just that this past weekend.
Here are the six hints they released:
Hint #1: The announcement contains a “celebration”.
Hint #2: The announcement will relate to a series…
Hint #3: The announcement will relate to a series…in which there are at least 3 previous entries…
Hint #4: The announcement will relate to a series…in which there are at least 3 previous entries…that Natsume published in North America.
Hint #5: C____m_______ __ K___
Hint #6: C_s__m_z____n i_ Ki__
Harvest Moon? River King? Rune Factory? We’re not sure. We’re also not sure if it’s actually going to be a Nintendo title, or if it’ll be a North American release.
