Thank goodness for that… Nintendo has confirmed in a developer roundtable Q & A last night that they are “reading the system to be able to transfer saves and everything you’ve bought.”
The idea is to be able to transfer Wii save data, WiiWare, and Virtual Console purchases onto the new Wii U from your regular ol’ Wii.
How will it work? Well, we don’t know that yet, so hang onto your Wii for the time being. We know they’re working on it though, so that’s good news for those of you who’re desperate for the new system, but have been worried about all the money you’ve spent on the Wii…
