Recently released artwork from Nintendo has us giddy like little school girls. Looks like New Super Mario Bros. 2 is paying even more homage to Super Mario World than originally thought, with the Koopalings passing by in Bowser’s clown copter/car thingy! But that’s not all – we’ve also seen the Mega Mushroom, Mini Mushroom, and of course everyone’s old favorites like the FireFlower and Raccoon Leaf.
Naturally, we expect new power-ups and enemies to make their debut in the game, but we’re also expecting many of these to be shiny and golden. For example, the new Golden Fire Flower gives you fireballs that turn everything into coins.
Now that’s gold digging at its finest.
