Nintendo Hits Up PAX Prime This Weekend

If you’re a gamer in Seattle this coming weekend, chances are you’ll be hitting up PAX Prime to see what the latest offerings are from both well-known and indie developers alike.

While past years of the con have occasionally seen sparse offerings from Nintendo, this year Nintendo is ramping up their booth space with some highly anticipated titles and yes, the Wii U.

A few of the games you can check out between Aug. 31st and Sept. 2nd are: ZombiU, Kirby’s Dream Collection: Special Edition, Nintendo Land, Adventure Time: Hey Ice King! Why’d You Steal Our Garbage?, New Super Mario Bros. U, Scribblenauts Unlimited, Skylanders Giants (!!!) and Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon.

Plus, there are events to take part in such as a Kid Icarus: Uprising tournament, a Paper Mario: Sticker Star sticker hunt, and a Guinness World Record attempt in celebration of Kirby’s 20th anniversary.

It’s great to see Nintendo finally sitting up and taking notice of this gamer-driven convention. We’ll bring you news from the show floor, but even if you’re not at PAX Prime, you can follow Nintendo’s adventures and announcements on the Twitter @NintendoAmerica page.

Faith likes games and books and cake and writing and Lara Croft, not necessarily in that order. She also thinks a Skylanders cartoon show is a really, REALLY good idea...
