Wal-Mart Getting in on Wii U Deluxe Pre-Orders

Most major retailers in North America have been sold out of Wii U Deluxe pre-orders for weeks, and no longer accept additional orders… but wait, now there’s a second chance for those of you who fell asleep during pre-order rush! This weekend, Wal-Mart announced that it will take pre-orders for the system… and if you can’t afford it? You have the option of choosing layaway on your order up until November 1st.

According to The Examiner, Wal-Mart needs a 10% down payment, which should work out to around $50. There’s currently a two-unit pre-order per person limit on the consoles, and the number of pre-orders in each store is limited (though the quantity is unknown).

And even better, you’ll be able to pick up your system on November 18th at 12:01am – no waiting around in line necessary!

Faith likes games and books and cake and writing and Lara Croft, not necessarily in that order. She also thinks a Skylanders cartoon show is a really, REALLY good idea...
