Sorry, Europe—No Scribblenauts Unlimited For You (Until 2013)

Though no one knows why at the moment, 5th Cell has just confirmed that Scribblenauts Unlimited—both the Wii U and 3DS versions—won’t be available in Europe until 2013.

Here’s what 5th Cell CEO Jeremiah Slaczka had to say about it:

“Nope. It’s due to stuff I can’t talk about until 2013. Scribblenauts and Super Scribblenauts were released in NA and EU the same day. Trust me. I want your money. It’s due to things outside of development.”

What exactly those things are, he hasn’t yet told us (and who knows if we’ll ever find out). It’s too bad for European gamers who were looking forward to adventuring with Maxwell again this week with their shiny new Wii Us, so they’ll have to look elsewhere to drop a few dollars this season.

Once we head of a confirmed new release date, we’ll let you know
