It’s not a surprise that Need for Speed: Most Wanted is on its way to the Wii U in 2013, but until now we’ve only had the promise of that happening sometime this year, with no firm date. However, EA Japan has broken silence on this once, citing March 14th as the Japanese release date—so presumably, North America & Europe’s dates aren’t far behind.
There’s been a press release about the game that gives away some details, too. Apparently, gameplay will feature menus and game information displayed on the GamePad, and if you’re feeling particularly handheld-y that day , you can play the game entirely on the GamePad too.
Now, we’re scratching our heads just as you are that EA in Japan broke the news first, but that probably means more details are headed our way in the near future.
