In the Wii U Direct presentation, Nintendo President Satoru Iwata revealed that Good Feel Inc., the developer who created Kirby’s Epic Yarn—that bizarre, yet endearing game—is currently working on a brand new title that follows in the previous game’s footsteps: Yarn Yoshi.
This is an interesting and exciting move on Nintendo’s part, because Yoshi hasn’t had his own title game (where he’s featured as the main character) since the N64’s Yoshi’s Story in 1998. And apparently Takashi Tezuka, the director of both Yoshi’s Island and Yoshi’s Story, has a heavy hand in this, and is “pulling all the strings” for the game’s development.
