We reported last week that Namco Bandai had reported they would localize their not-as-successful-as-anticipated title Project X Zone, likely due to the continuing interest and enthusiasm for the title around the world. There’s even better news now for excited fans, because Namco Bandai has revealed that the whole, authentic experience is coming to the West… including the entire Japanese character cast.
Siliconera has reported that the Western release will contain the original Japanese voice track, adding subtitles for non-Japanese players. In addition, Namco Bandai has stated that the game’s content should be “the same as the Japanese version.”
Yes, it may just be a case of Namco Bandai not wanting to spend the money to record another voice track for worldwide release, but Nintendo gamers are no stranger to reading subtitles while playing games from Japan, so this shouldn’t phase anyone looking forward to this RPG mash-up title.
