Fans of BIT.TRIP RUNNER on WiiWare have been waiting patiently for BIT.TRIP Presents: Runner 2 Future Legend of Rhythm Alien (yeah, let’s just call it Runner 2, m’kay?), a follow-up that seems to have kept what players liked about the game with running and jumping—but with much better graphics, and plenty of new characters and locations.
The good news came when Gaijin Games confirmed Runner 2 for Wii U, and the company’s promise to keep the release date in February looks to be happening—for North Americans, that is.
Gaijin says the game will show up on Wii U and Steam first, and that it should appear on February 26th. Yes, that does fall outside the typical Thursday release day, but this sort of thing has happened before from time to time. Europe will have to wait a little longer for Runner 2, but it shouldn’t be long now.
