Marvel fans will recall that earlier this year, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes was a confirmed title for the Wii U, 3DS, and DS. Thus far, LEGO has focused most of its superhero efforts on DC characters, but it’s finally time for Marvel to step into the spotlight—and give Marvel fans their own reason to spend a few bucks on a LEGO game. (And merch. Let’s not forget the inevitable merch.)
We know the game will be set in a LEGO New York City, and we know that Iron Man, Wolverine, Thor, Spider-Man, and the Hulk will be featured—and that it’s coming this fall. It’ll have over 100 characters, and to whet our appetites, TT Games Publishing has released some new screenshots of the characters and play environments.
The screenshots we found are representative of the game on Wii U, and it looks pretty good. Considering how pretty LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins looks—and it look good—this may be the LEGO game that gets you back into the franchise. Either way, the artwork is a lot of fun!
