Those of you who’ve been waiting eagerly to play the new LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes have likely been a bit on edge lately. All the reports a few months back said the game would be out this spring, but here we are, the first week into April, and there’d been no official release date announced.
And until yesterday, it looked like maybe we weren’t going to see a spring release after all.
However, you can rest easy, my friends, knowing that Batman is coming. We’ll see the game hitting the Wii U next month, with online retailers such as Amazon and GameStop listing the release date as May 21st. The website Joystiq has also confirmed with GameStop that the listing is, in fact, real and true.
We know, we know… it’s already been on the Wii and 3DS, so some of you may have just gone ahead and played it there. But for the loyal Wii U owners who’ve been waiting for this title in HD, this is good news.
