Miiverse Leaps Onto Your Browser

While we’re waiting patiently (or not so patiently) for the Miiverse to appear on the 3DS, it appears to have gone cross-platform in an unexpected way! Everyone’s favourite utopian social network is now available in your browser! Load it up, sit back, and have your eyes boggled once more by elaborate works of art and make a few new friends.

It’s pretty much the same deal as on the Wii U, though missing a few minor features. Go ahead and scroll through activity feeds, you can enter Communities, look at screenshots, user profiles, view drawings, and comment on others’ posts. Sadly, if you want to actually post to a Community or add a friend, you’ll have to hop back on the Wii U.

And yes, it still requires a Nintendo Network ID account, so you do need to own a Wii U to access the browser version.

There’s also a mobile version of the site, which has the same functionality.

Faith likes games and books and cake and writing and Lara Croft, not necessarily in that order. She also thinks a Skylanders cartoon show is a really, REALLY good idea...
