Although there’s bound to be some lingering disappointment that Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies is only heading to the eShop, we at Nintendo Fire would like to take a moment to remind those folks that they’re fortunate the game is heading to Western shores at all. For a while there, it looked like the future of everyone’s favourite game-based lawyer would be restricted to Japanese shores.
But all that said, Japan is getting a physical and digital game on the July 25th release, which means they’re also getting a little more in the way of hype for the game. This week saw a Japan-only Nintendo Direct that focused exclusively on Capcom titles, bringing us a three-minute Japanese trailer for Dual Destinies.
While only fans who speak Japanese or the most dedicated of the series will be able to make sense of the trailer, what we’re seeing here is a new game that features the most appealing aspects of the series—doubtless giving fans in North America and Europe plenty to look forward to, even if they don’t get a long, fancy trailer out of it.
