Just Dance Kids 2014 Hitting the Wii U & Wii

In the same way that rhythm-challenged gamers have been able to let loose and embarrass themselves in the comfort of their own homes for the past few years, there’s been a kids’ series of Just Dance games released alongside the regular version at the same time.

Too bad for adults that kids don’t seem to have any problem getting up and moving when given the opportunity, so it’s probably just as well that they’re getting another addition to their series, Just Dance Kids 2014.

The game will be coming to the Wii U and the Wii, releasing on October 22nd in North America.

It’ll more or less be the same old, same old, with the exception of the GamePad’s Dance Director Mode, where a player can add moves into a routine as it’s being played.

The game will feature 30 songs, and we have a partial list to share with you today. There’s a mix of new pop songs and some classic tunes, which seems to be an effort to cater to kids and their parents, if we’re being honest.

Here’s the partial song list:

  • “Hit The Lights” by Selena Gomez & The Scene
  • “Give Your Heart A Break” by Demi Lovato
  • “We Go Well Together” by Goldheart
  • “One Thing” by One Direction
  • “Put Your Hearts Up” by Ariana Grande

Faith likes games and books and cake and writing and Lara Croft, not necessarily in that order. She also thinks a Skylanders cartoon show is a really, REALLY good idea...
