Who is surprised? No one. No one at all.
After promising so much and eventually taking back all of these promises, we’ve now learned that the Wii U version of Watch Dogs will not have any DLC available. This announcement came through the official Twitter account for the game after a Nintendo fan asked Ubisoft directly about this (perpetually) upcoming release.
As we all know, this isn’t the first time Ubisoft has flipped a certain finger at Nintendo fans regarding DLC content for their games. Several other high-profile titles, which we won’t bother naming because of the pain the memory causes us, also were denied DLC on the Wii U version after their already delayed releases.
Watch Dogs finally arrives on the Wii U on November 18th in North America, if anyone even cares at this point.
