New Footage for Kirby and the Rainbow Curse

How does a rainbow possibly become a curse? That’s something we’ll have to wait and find out when Kirby and the Rainbow Curse releases in North America on the Wii U in 2015. The game will have stylus-controlled rolling gameplay and contain that interested clay-based animation style.

There’s a new trailer out for the game, and though it’s all in Japanese, some things don’t need translation (and, uh, some things do, which is where we’re getting some of the information that follows). There will be 28 story levels, plus collectibles.

The trailer gives us a lot of exciting elements, with four player multiplayer that looks incredibly fun and footage of the amiibo integration.

The game will be heading to North America on February 13th, and looks set to be a budget release of around $30-40 here, oddly enough. Check out the trailer below!

Dave will tell you that he likes to play video games, this is in fact a lie. What he really likes to do is buy games, and leaving them sitting unopened on his shelf. He is a monster.
