Kids and Squids Can Enjoy Splatoon-Inspired Froyo This Summer!

Here we go, fellow Canadians—with summer and Splatoon arriving in the blink of an eye, many of us will be turning to tasty frozen treats to get us through the hot days… and to give us extra energy to keep gaming, amirite?

Yogurty’s and Yogen Fruz have joined forces with Nintendo and Splatoon to give us a fun option for cooling off for the next few months! From June 1st to September 8th, Canadian stores will be offering special Splatoon inspired flavors and toppings!

The froyo flavors include the Squidsicle (dairy-free mango popsicle sorbet) and Inkberry (probiotic low-fat strawberry frozen yogurt)… and if you’re undecided, why not swirl the two and create “Squid Ink”? Heh. As for the toppings, for an extra burst of flavor, go ahead and top those creations with some mango or strawberry popping bubbles.

Another bonus is that from June 15th onward, you’ll be able to head to one of the Yogurty’s listed below for a chance to try out Splatoon while you eat your Splatoon-inspired sugary creation! Just… try not to leave the controller sticky, will you?

Faith likes games and books and cake and writing and Lara Croft, not necessarily in that order. She also thinks a Skylanders cartoon show is a really, REALLY good idea...
