Terrible headers aside, Never Alone is known as a unique puzzle platformer that has quite the interesting background story. Upper One Games collaborated with around forty members of a native Alaskan tribe to craft a folklore-inspired game about the journey of a young girl and an arctic fox who travel to find the source of an eternal blizzard.
The game is playable solo or co-op, with the journey taking players through a visual wonderland of winter atmosphere and tone. The pair will need to work together to take on enemies and survive obstacles, with the game containing a fascinating narration overtop by—quite literally—an indigenous master storyteller.
Never Alone has received many awards through its release on other platforms, but will hit the Wii U eShop this week on June 25th.
