Adults and children of all ages, of many generations, surely recognize that little white dog with floppy ears… Snoopy and his humans of the Peanuts game are iconic cartoon characters, thanks to Charles M Schulz’s long-running Peanuts comic. With the arrival of the 65th anniversary of the comic, there will be plenty of celebrations in the form of a feature-film and—as expected these days—tie-in video games.
The Peanuts Movie is a brand new film, and the first for the gang in literally decades. It’s released on November 6th, but three days before that, The Peanuts Movie: Snoopy’s Grand Adventure will arrive on the Wii U and 3DS.
The game will take a similar claymation-style approach to the artwork—like the new film—and will be a platformer with a two-player local co-op mode. As might be expected, the second player will play as Woodstock, assisting Snoopy during his adventure.
