Here It Comes: Shin Megami Tensei IV: Final

Earlier today, Atlus’s website for Shin Megami Tensei IV posted an image of a stone wall with a question-mark style design on it, with accompanying text that stated that after 15,000 Tweets, there’d be a disaster. Or something like that. Well! The fans came out en masse to ensure those 15,000 Tweets were posted, and Atlus followed through.

They announced Shin Megami Tensei IV: Final, which will be heading to the 3DS as a brand new game in February 2016. Er, in Japan. Presumably it will head over this way sometime, perhaps late 2016, but we will keep you informed on any localization news.

Meanwhile, the few additional details we know is that the chief programmer from Shin Megami Tensei IV will be returning—that’s Satoshi Oyama—and serving as director. The theme of the game is god-killer, derived from the term “Deicide.”

Fans of the series, sounds like there’s a lot to look forward to here, and we’re sure that details will steadily emerge as we get nearer to release.

Dave will tell you that he likes to play video games, this is in fact a lie. What he really likes to do is buy games, and leaving them sitting unopened on his shelf. He is a monster.
