Japan Gets Games Stores in Animal Crossing: HHD

Some of you out there are still playing this game, right? We thought so! You’ll probably be interested to hear that an update has come to Japanese versions of the game that we’re hoping will also make its way here.

Remember some time ago when we shared news about leaked images that looked like Wii U games and retail racks? Yes, it’s official. Japanese players of Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer will be seeing racks full of Nintendo games, amiibo stands, demo stations, a cash register counter, a kiosk that looks like a Game Boy…and more.

Inside the game, players will be given the task of creating a retail games store for Claude to live and work inside. Who wouldn’t want that? We’re crossing our fingers that it hits the west sooner than later.

Faith likes games and books and cake and writing and Lara Croft, not necessarily in that order. She also thinks a Skylanders cartoon show is a really, REALLY good idea...
