Metroid Prime 4 is happening. It’s real. No, seriously. Nintendo just confirmed it during their E3 presentation.
GET HYPE, FRIENDS.
Now, all we know at this time is that it’s a thing, that Retro Studios is not developing this new game, and that producer Kensuke Tanabe is heading up “a talented new development team” for the title. Hopefully this is good news—Tanabe produced the first three Metroid Prime games, so he’s a veteran of the franchise.
All that was shown during the presentation was a title screen, but let’s face it… right now, that’s enough. Gotta let those heart palpitations calm down first before we can handle anything else, eh?
