New Summer Season Update for Camp Pokémon

It’s camping season! And now you don’t even have to go outdoors! Isn’t that the dream, though? Okay, maybe not for everyone, but for those of you who fear the great, flaming orb in the sky, Camp Pokémon has just had a new season announced by The Pokémon Company.

The app, originally released back in 2014, has been given a significant update which adds Aloha region Pokémon—which savvy players will recognize from the Sun and Moon games on the 3DS. You’ll also get to enjoy a new trading card game. Fewer bugs, more fun!

Check out the video below where “camp counselors” will guide the new recruits around the island, highlighting features and what the new season will entail. And be sure to check out the 360 degree view of the island—it’s like you’re there, but there’s no risk of sunburn! Exciting. Download the updates (or the app, if you don’t have it already) on Apple devices and Android OS.

Dave will tell you that he likes to play video games, this is in fact a lie. What he really likes to do is buy games, and leaving them sitting unopened on his shelf. He is a monster.
