April Release for Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Champions

The news came in today that Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Champions has a firm release date for Nintendo Switch—this “modern take on collectible card games” releases April 16th, and features cross-play between digital and physical versions. Players can scan their physical cards into their collection and use them for in-game battles.

Here’s a little more from the press release:

“The response for the physical and digital game has already been incredible, and we just can’t wait to watch that grow to new heights. With the upcoming release of our Set 3 cards in Savagery, and a whole heap of new features like Arena of Echoes and Realm Trials, there’s always going to be something new to try. And now, there will be a much bigger community to try with.”

In addition, there will be a new single-player campaign called Realm Trials, which contains “dozens of hours of content.” Players will also have a “whole new way to battle” in the new Arena of Echoes mode.

Get your hands on it April 16th!

Dave will tell you that he likes to play video games, this is in fact a lie. What he really likes to do is buy games, and leaving them sitting unopened on his shelf. He is a monster.
