Although the acclaimed platform-adventure Ori and the Will of the Wisps hit the Nintendo Switch last week, in a surprise release from Moon Studios, it turns out there’s a physical release coming this December—as well as a physical release of Ori and the Blind Forest.
We’re a bit miffed that the announcements didn’t come at the same time—if you purchased digitally and are now interested in the physical editions, you’ll be buying it a second time—but we are pleased to see that the physical editions will also include a digital soundtrack and a set of 6 art cards.
While the digital copy of Ori and the Will of the Wisps is $29.99USD, the physical releases will both retail for $39.99USD. This is a far cry from the $150 USD Collector’s edition that will be released by iam8bit later this year, containing both games and a rather incredible-looking set of collectibles.
Pre-orders for the physical editions can be made at retailers now.
