As gimmicky as it might seem at first glance, admit it: Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit looks pretty darn cool, and you’re kinda excited about it.
If you haven’t heard about this before, this release is Nintendo’s next foray into mixing video games and toys in the real world, this time using a motorized go-kart (a Mario… Kart) that zips around your living room on “tracks” that you create using track arches and a sensor on the toy. You play these real-world Mario Kart tracks on your Nintendo Switch, sending the kart around your room—as virtual enemies and obstacles appear on-screen.
