Licensed 4U Adds Two more games to their Q1 3DS Lineup

Now I agree, the name of the company seems pretty text-messagey, but they are the guys that published the surprisingly decent Bejewled Twist for the DS last year.  Of course you had to like match-3 games in the first place to like the game at all, but that’s not really the fault of the publisher, as they are popular games.  If you feel that your 3DS library is missing match-3 or ‘hidden object’ games, then you’re in luck, because Licensed 4U has no fewer than 9 3DS titles lined up for 2012.

Joining their lineup for Q1 2012 along with the previously announced Secret Mysteries in London coming out February 10th, are Azada and 4 Elements, both of which will be coming out March 23rd.  These are European release dates however, and no news on whether North America are getting them, or if another publisher entirely is handling them.  I’ve contacted Licensed 4U and will update this post as news arrives. But North America will be getting them in 2012, just no news yet on a release date.

Azada is a 3DS followup to the popular PC title of the same name, a genre that they have dubbed ‘Hidden Object Adventure’.

In this exciting Nintendo 3DS version, the adventures of hapless magician Titus continue with masses of escape-the-room puzzles, hidden object and mini games in each level.

Trapped in a haunted room by his great-uncle, Titus has asked you to help release him from the magical spell. With the last of the magical powers he acquired while trapped, he transports you to his study and asks for your help to set him free.  You must solve the most mysterious puzzles of Azada and fill in the missing pages of the enchanted book to free Titus from his prison. With more than 40 unique puzzles and five master level puzzles, you will need to use strategy, think logically and have a keen eye to succeed. Uncover the secret of Azada today.

  • More than forty unique puzzles
  • Five master level puzzles
  • Hidden clues unlock levels
  • Puzzle types  – Word, match-three, escape-the-room and hidden object

4 Elements is a match-3 type game, with some light twists on the formula.  If you’re looking for something new, but not revolutionary and you love these kinds of games, keep an eye out for it.

An adorable little fairy will be your aide in this perilous journey as you encounter elementals, dragons, knights and various magic creatures. Using a mix of classic addictive game play ideas with innovative twists, explosive bonuses, spectacular visual effects and a fascinating storyline in amazing animation, 4 Elements on Nintendo 3DS is a sure fire winner.

  • 4 books of magic to unlock and study
  • 16 mysterious cards to collect
  • Gripping storyline presented in beautiful animation
  • 64 captivating levels with 20 challenging bonus tasks
  • Stunning visual effects and fantastic bonuses
