If you’ve been to the theatre lately, you may have had the good fortune to watch a highly entertaining (and nostalgia-inducing) trailer for an upcoming film titled LEGO: The Movie. Honestly, it was only a matter of time.
So of course, launching alongside the movie in 2014 from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and TT Games is The LEGO Movie Videogame, which we’ll see on the Wii U and 3DS.
In the game, you control the hero of the film—Emmet—who is a bit of a bumbling, normal dude who ends up being mistaken for the one person who can save the world. You and Emmet journey forth to stop evil from winning, and to bring peace and harmony to all LEGOkind.
There will be over ninety of the film’s characters included in this game, and fifteen levels to quest through. While there’s been no specific release date given, doubtless that’ll become clear as we get closer to the film’s opening.
