While it’s old news that Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures is scheduled to come to the Wii U and 3DS from Namco Bandai, the new announcement is that the original release date—Winter 2013—has been pushed to later in 2014. The game will now be released in March 2014 (in Europe, anyway).
The little bit we’ve seen of the game so far takes the classic Pac-Man formula and slots it into some almost-3D platforming scenarios—along with plenty of new bits of gameplay, as the game is actually based on a TV show by the same title.
Even though the game won’t be around for quite some time, we’re certainly intrigued by the updating of this classic character and concept.
