Hey, chiptune fans! Capcom and Sumthing Else Music Works have announced something that is relevant to your interests… Mega Man soundtracks!
Currently, four volumes are available—Mega Man Soundtrack Volumes 1-4—and there are six more planned for subsequent release in the months ahead. We’ll see two per month going forward.
Mega Man’s tunes are known as some of the best music samples in the chiptuniverse (see what we did there?! Eh? EH?), so this is great news for fans of the music style and Mega Man games. And it’s great timing too, with a new classic Mega Man title heading to the Wii U eShop every week this month.
While there’s no physical release for us here in North America like there is in Japan, the digital soundtracks can be purchased from iTunes, Amazon, and Sumthing.com.
