Fire Emblem Comes to Wii U Virtual Console

The Wii U Virtual Console saw the arrival of the Game Boy Advance library and subsequent long wish lists from Nintendo fans everywhere. Some certain franchises were at the top of the lists, and with Fire Emblem: Awakening being a success on the 3DS, we figured it wouldn’t be long before we’d see Fire Emblem reappear in one form or another.

Well, it did show up, but it was in Europe back in August. According to Nintendo of America, it’ll finally arrive today (oh boy!) in this week’s update for a cool $7.99.

Yes, it may be the “wrong” system for the game to appear on, and a little late to the party, but better to at least have it than not at all, correct?

If you’re not familiar with this one and are a fan of turn-based strategy games, you’ll want to check it out.

Micah has been playing games since his first pong machine, and has been writing for as long as he could grip a pencil and not drool on the paper. So, for about a week.
