It’s happening! Tic Toc Games has confirmed that its platformer, Adventures of Pip, will be coming to the Wii U eShop this May. The game was funded last year through Kickstarter, and had the great success of exceeding its funding goal by a whopping 164%.
There were over 2,500 backers for the game, thanks to Adventures of Pip’s marvelous pixel-heavy artwork and retro-style music (soundtrack by Jake “virt” Kaufman, who previously worked on games like Shovel Knight).
We’re going to see Adventures of Pip on the Wii U, as well as Steam, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PS4. The Nintendo Fire team had the distinct pleasure of having a look at this title during PAX Prime 2014 (see our First Impressions here), and we’re thrilled that it’s finally on its way to players everywhere.
