After seeing the flood of eBay auctions filled with pre-orders for the sale of the upcoming Majora’s Mask 3D New Nintendo 3DS XL Bundle, Best Buy decided to crack down. They began cancelling duplicate orders, which might seem like a good thing on one hand—but what about those families who ordered multiple units for their multiple children (or themselves, let’s be realistic here)?
We thought that it had to do with the pre-sale eBay auctions, but perhaps not. It seems that some of these cancellations might have more to do with stock issues than anything else, because some orders are being cancelled for single systems. Stock deliveries are not matching up with the orders taken, and Best Buy is offering $50 off an order for the red or black New Nintendo 3DS XL as consolation.
