PAX East has arrived! You’re pumped and you’re ready to get your game on…but what will you choose to do first? How about…a console tournament! Tournaments are a fun way to make sure you’re playing games and a mostly stress-free way to meet people since you’re all in the same room for the same reason. It’s a great way to make some new PAX friends early on in the weekend.
As we like to do for our readers every PAX, we’ve placed console tournament listings below for any tournament featuring a Nintendo console. These tournaments are “bite-sized”, meaning you won’t have to spend your entire day sitting around and waiting to play or waiting for the next round.
Tournaments last an absolute max of 4 hours and have smaller player caps, so be sure to check the maps around the convention center to find the sign-up area. Signups usually begin at 10am, and this year the suggestion is to practice before your tournament in Console Freeplay or Classic Console Freeplay. These will fill up quickly, so sign up ASAP!
