Ironcast Headed to Switch in August

Steampunk turn-based strategy? Yes, I will tell you more. What if, during the Victorian era, giant mechanical war machines were developed for military use by the British Empire? This premise, while not entirely original, sounds entertaining and will especially be of interest to those of you who enjoy this particular aesthetic and strategy gaming.

In Ironcast, you’ll control a 7-meter tall walking war machine—an Ironcast, ah-hah!—on your quest to defend Victorian England (of the 1880s variety, years are unspecific here) from invasion.

The game will land on the Switch on August 10th, priced at $12.99USD. There’s no trailer quite yet, but as soon as they have it ready, we’ll be sure to share it.

According to the developers, you’ll be able to play Ironcast in tabletop mode with your Pro Controller, or on the go with the touchscreen. There’s HD Rumble support, and the game itself has randomly generated missions to keep the content coming.
