Marvel Game News, Fresh from Comic-Con

There hasn’t been all that much in terms of game news coming out of Comic Con, but there was a Marvel panel that gave us a bit of news about a few Marvel related things we can look forward to on Nintendo’s consoles.  The first is Marvel Pinball, which may sound odd but is actually a fun way to play virtual pinball, if that’s your thing.  It’s basically coming to every platform that exists, including the 3DS and Wii U.

THQ mentioned the uDraw enabled Marvel Super Hero Squad Comic Combat game, which doesn’t actually involve much drawing, as well as mentioning the already announced Marvel Super Hero Squad: Infinity Gauntlet for the 3DS (Out October 11th) as well as dropping the names of Thor, Captain America and Spiderman: Edge of Time games that will be coming to the 3DS by the end of the year.

That’s right, 5 Marvel games coming to the 3DS, all by the end of the year.  Hopefully that helps offset the bad news we’ve been hearing.  I’m also very interested in the idea of movie tie-in titles that aren’t actually being forced out before the movie.  Does this mean they’ll have the time to polish and actually make the games good?

Anything could happen…

Micah has been playing games since his first pong machine, and has been writing for as long as he could grip a pencil and not drool on the paper. So, for about a week.
