E3 2015: Metroid Prime: Federation Force

Who didn’t want to hear about a new Metroid game at E3? Come on, raise your hand. No one? Exactly.

Look, all of our hopes weren’t for naught… we got a Metroid announcement. Then again, maybe we shouldn’t have hoped so hard, because it’s not… quite… what we wanted.

Metroid Prime: Federation Force will be a 3DS multiplayer game from Next Level Games, featuring co-op missions for four players (local or online) set in the Metroid Prime universe.

Now think back to the Nintendo World Championships. You saw a game called Blast Ball during that event. Guess what? That game is part of this one.

It’ll be heading to handhelds next year, whether you want it or not.
