The Direct presentation today showed off a little more of the anticipated title Astral Chain from PlatinumGames. It’ll be arriving on the Switch on August 30th, and there’s a new trailer we’ll link below.
In the game, you play as humanity’s last chance in a fight against an interdimensional invasion, using a sentient weapon known as Legion. Players work with their Legion as members of an elite police force, solving cases, saving the known world, as one does. Various types of Legions can be equipped during gameplay for different combat styles and aesthetics.
We’ll be getting more news in the days ahead, and as of right now, a Collector’s Edition has only been announced for Europe. We’ll let you know if North America is getting one as soon as we hear anything.
