E3 2019: Spyro Reignited Trilogy Happening After All

Well, it’s actually happening. Despite all the news and rumors and back-and-forth, the Direct presentation confirmed that Spyro Reignited Trilogy will indeed be heading to the Nintendo Switch on September 3rd of this year.

Switch rumors began for this one in February 2018—yes, that’s how long this has been going on—which was followed by a listing appearance on Nintendo’s official site, which then disappeared, with folks making statements about never having heard of a Switch version, and then the game released on other platforms and not a peep was heard from Nintendo.

And despite radio silence, today out of the ether we get the game appearing in a Nintendo Direct.

The trilogy includes remakes of the first three Spyro games. You know the rest, we’re sure.
